Task 2

In some cultures, children are often told that they can achieve anything if they try hard enough.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of giving children this message?

Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge or experience.

Some people believe that children can be described as a blank paper, which parent has a role model for filling it with positive vibes, such as telling them about everything is possible when they had a lot of effort. I believe that this insight can build confidence, motivate, and also be ready for real life in the future. However, if someday children cannot reach what they want after trying hard enough, they still to be a people with a good perspective.

A strong opinion of citizens who believe to teach their kids motivational sentences is creating confidently from the inside. Juveniles can learn something when they put their effort to reach it, for instance when kids want to buy a new game, partial parents will challenge to do something good first before they got the rewards. At that moment, children consider about “everything can be achieved after trying hard”, which can be a positive insight that has been growing since young, and after long term, it will be the best perspective to understand about future.

On the other hand, there are some aspects related to a personal situation that cannot be handled by a human the first time. A good illustration of this is the economic level, in which children who are born from a family need more effort than the wealthy one. Honestly, it is only a limit of condition recently, however, it is possible to be the opposite in the future, and of course, it needs a huge effort. If someday it still difficult to change destiny, children will still happy because they have been tried their best, and they think that they never find failed, which is only an evaluation for doing again and again.

In conclusion, teaching positive insight from an early age is essential for building a good attitude and personality, which if someday they find difficulties, they still about chance and never give up to achieve brightly future.
